Our story of faith, purpose, and real estate excellence
Asterra Capital was founded on a simple belief: that real estate investment can align financial returns with spiritual values and community benefit.
Our founders came from decades of experience in institutional real estate, property management, and faith-based community development. They saw opportunities being missed and problems being ignored—investors seeking alignment with their values, property owners overwhelmed by management complexity, and communities harmed by extractive development.
In 2018, they decided to build something different. Not just another real estate company, but a platform where values and values could coexist. Where "stakeholders" included communities and the environment, not just capital and returns.
What started as a small team has grown into a trusted partner for hundreds of investors and property owners across the Southwest.
Asterra Capital combines two meaningful roots:
Together: "Heaven guiding earth"
It's more than a name—it's our purpose. We believe business can be both heavenly (principled, ethical) and earthly (profitable, practical, impactful).
